My backstory...

I've tried a few of the activities I write about, including the first things I describe in the first several chapters of my first book. Not my blog book - that's almost all from my twisted imagination. But my first real novel (based on release date if you're curious) is pretty much autobiographical. I decided to put it all down on paper just to have it, but then I decided to publish it just for kicks.

And oh boy, did I get a kick out of it.

It amazes me that my first book is still my best seller. I understand that it's been around the longest so it has a built-in advantage, but still. I'd like to think I've gotten better over time but who knows? Maybe the authenticity of that first story comes through.
